Neon Moth is the company behind NeonWP. We were started in 2011 to bring custom graphic design and website services to small and medium businesses. We’ve encountered all kinds of hacks. To be perfectly honest, some of them have been messy and confusing. Sometimes we can repair a site quickly, but sometimes the only real fix is a complete teardown and rebuild. It’s not fun when this happens, but it does happen from time to time. If you’re in a bad spot with your website, we’ll give you an honest answer either way. And we’ll explain it in simple terms.
Once we get your site fixed and begin managing it, we put hours of effort into remediation and repair. While we can’t guarantee your site won’t be hacked again—any developer who makes that guarantee is being dishonest—we believe preparation is key. Every negative instance prepares us better for the next one. If your site is hacked or damaged by a malicious attack, we promise to get you back up and running as quickly as possible. Every plan includes regular backups, some as frequently as once per hour. If you choose a plan that includes hosting, we can even repair server-level damages that affect your site.
I’ve seen hosting and management for less. Can you explain your pricing model?
Of course! There are millions of web servers in the world serving well over a billion websites daily. When there are this many options, you have a wide range of prices. Some services offer bare-bones hosting for just a few dollars a month. Others can be close to $1,000 per month. And that’s just for hosting.
Our pricing model is based on our cost with a markup that keeps our staff paid fairly and ensures we will be around for a very long time. We don’t participate in any labor practices that are unethical, such as hiring overseas staff to take advantage of lower labor costs. Every person you work with is physically located in the United States and is paid a fair wage plus benefits.
We believe that happy employees lead to satisfied customers and clients. You don’t have to worry about our staff running off with your trade secrets or damaging your reputation because they are dissatisfied with their jobs. We back that up with a liability policy that protects you and your business interests. (A Certificate of Insurance (COI) with an additional insured endorsement is available upon request.)
In addition to this, there are hard costs involved in maintaining a secure server and providing quality management software. We don’t use “trial” versions of software to keep your site managed. We insist on the highest level of service from our providers so we can offer you a high level of service. With us, you won’t run into issues like a site being shut down for having too much traffic.
Even taking all of this into account, we make every effort to remain affordable. NeonWP costs less per month than hiring a similarly skilled employee for just a few hours. This means you get top-notch website management when you need it. This translates into a positive return on your investment.

For our highest-tier plans, we offer 24/7 emergency support to address issues immediately. For our lower-tier plans, we guarantee a response within one to two business days.
